Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has made five changes to the starting line-up for the final round of the Six Nations game against Wales to be played at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday.
Stuart Hogg, who was part of the Exeter side that completed a double in the 2019/20 season returns to captain the side and is slotted at fullback in the place of Blair Kinghorn, who shifts to left wing.
Finn Russell takes the kicking responsibility and returns to the starting line-up with Adam Hastings swapping with him on the bench.
Scott Cummings will form a new second row partnership with Jonny Gray, who is back in the XV while the final change sees Blade Thomson donning the number eight jersey at the expense of Matt Fagerson.
“We are expecting a physical battle against a very good side, one which we will be working hard to stay in the fight and to finish the fight in Llanelli,” said Townsend.
“Ultimately, this game provides an opportunity for us to end this extended championship on a positive note and go into the Autumn Nations Cup with some added belief in what this group of players can achieve.”
Scotland are positioned fourth in the Six Nations table with two wins from four matches.
