Gloucester Rugby have confirmed the signing of flanker Jamie Gibson ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Gibson made his professional rugby debut with London Irish in 2009 making 70 appearances for them and switched to Leicester Tigers in 2013 before linking up with Northampton Saints in 2015. Overall, he has racked up 181 Premiership appearances for three clubs combined.
The 30-year-old made his England debut in 2012 during the non-cap game against the Barbarians. He was also selected in the squad to face Barbarians in 2014 summer.
Gloucester head coach George Skivington was delighted in obtaining the services of Gibson.
“Jamie is an experienced operator in Premiership rugby, and he adds another dynamic to our squad as we prepare for the new season,” said Skivington in a statement released by the club.
“He’s impressed with his performances everywhere he’s played, so we are looking forward to seeing him make his mark in Cherry & White.”
