France scrum-half Antoine Dupont has been named the Six Nations’ Player of the Championship for the 2020 edition.
The 23-year-old overcome challenges from fellow nominees that includes his international team-mates Romain Ntamack and Gregory Alldritt along with England duo Maro Itoje and Ben Youngs and Ireland’s CJ Stander.
Dupont, who had covered 249 metres with ball in hand is the most for any scrum-half in the tournament while 54 kicks for 1,543 metres were also among the high. He also had 12 offloads.
England’s Emily Scarratt wins the Women’s Six Nations Player of the Year award after receiving most votes from the head coach and team captain of each participating Women’s Six Nations team.
During the course of the tournament, Scarratt became England’s highest ever points scorer helping the red rose team to a Grand Slam win.
