Ma’afu brother:
Tongan international Apakuki Ma’afu the third brother has caught the attention of Aviva Premiership’s Northampton Saints.
Brother Salesi was at Northampton now Cardiff, and youngest brother Campese is there at the moment… and seems like Apakuki is on the same route.
Eddie‘s 3 pointers:
So with Eddie Jones scheming ahead of the Autumn internationals, it seems he has sent out a few points to consider to his England squad:
Start the game with 5 minutes high tempo, ruthless/distruptive at any breakdown, line speed and connection in D is key.
Ford‘s move:
With the shake up at Bath under Blackadder baring fruit so far this season, it’s a wonder why he’d want to leave, but George Ford is rumoured to be on the look out for pastures new….
Contracted till the end of the season, Ford could see time at his brothers’ old club (fly-half struggling) Sale, or will his Dad’s late position at Toulon sway his decision.
Franks in Bath:
It’s recently emerged that David Wilson is on his way back to Newcastle, meaning Bath could be short a prop or two.
With London Irish’s fall into the RFU Championship, the New Zealand, World-Cup winning tighthead Ben Franks wants top flight rugby and the Rec could be his answer.
